Good app, watch version doesnt work

I love this app on my iPhone, but it hasnt worked on my watch for months. It always says "You must first launch OneFootball on your phone to synchronize your favourite teams and competitions to the watch". It used to work great, but its been saying this for the last 2-3 months :-(
